CQM Welding is an industrial service provider for critical welding, piping, maintenance and QA/QC. We support the energy and process industries with technical expertise and on-site execution.
From a critical repair during a planned shutdown to a complete welding or maintenance assignment: we take responsibility from preparation to execution and the final quality documentation.
Our strength lies in combining engineering, quality assurance and execution. This allows us to identify technical risks early and develop practical solutions that meet the required standards and specifications.
Where possible, we look at how an installation can also be made stronger, more reliable and more durable. Our team brings together experienced welders, engineers and QA/QC specialists, supplemented by a network of qualified specialists. This allows us to tailor our deployment to the assignment and stay in control of the execution.
We work in environments where safety and quality are essential.
We focus on demanding and critical welding and maintenance work.
We prepare thoroughly and work towards a correct first execution.
We take responsibility for the assignment entrusted to us.
Every intervention offers opportunities to improve reliability, durability and performance.
We want to grow into a trusted European partner for critical industrial interventions, with quality, reliability and a correct first execution as the benchmark.
From preparation to execution, we take responsibility for your critical intervention. We work safely and efficiently, with the ambition to get it right first time. In doing so, we look for opportunities to make your installation stronger, more reliable and more durable.
Stef Ceyssens passionately leads CQM Welding. His love for welding began at a young age in the workshop of his father, Henri, a specialist in structural engineering. As a welding engineer, Stef has further developed his expertise at various companies that focus on hard surfacing, corrosion surfacing, and structural engineering related to ASME, PED2014/68/EU, and EN1090.
Thanks to his years of experience in processing high-quality materials, including unalloyed and low-alloy steels, aluminum, and special hard surfacing, Stef is a certified International Welding Engineer (IWE). He enjoys sharing his knowledge of standards in the welding industry to support other companies.
The successful collaboration with CQM welding resulted in us obtaining our FPC and EN1090 exc 2 certificates. From the very first contact, there was a smooth understanding. Stef took care of the project from A to Z. Complete peace of mind. Transparency about costs and delivery times was a major added value. Everything was communicated clearly and there were no surprises afterwards. I would definitely recommend CQM welding to anyone looking for reliable advice and high quality.

AS-Mechanics had been wanting to take the step towards EN 1090 certification for quite some time. However, this was always held back by a lack of time to complete all the paperwork. Through the BIL, we came into contact with Stef, who was highly recommended for his no-nonsense and straightforward approach. From the introductory meeting to assisting during the audit, this approach was confirmed.
