The challenge

A valve manifold in a high-pressure installation operating at 300 bar had to be replaced. The existing piping was made of DMV310N, a demanding high-temperature material that requires strict control during welding. Because of the critical service conditions, the replacement required a strong focus on welding quality and process control.

Our assignment

CQM Welding performed the welding required to integrate the new valve manifold into the existing DMV310N piping system.

Our approach

For the welds, Alloy 617 filler metal was used in accordance with the qualified welding procedure. The welding parameters and thermal conditions were carefully controlled to ensure the integrity of the connections under the demanding operating conditions.
